Porsche Engineering To Help Develop Putin's Presidential Limo

Range will include a car, a minivan and an SUV

Vladimir Putin's new presidential limo is inching closer to production as the Russian Minister of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov, has announced Porsche Engineering will help develop "a family of vehicles for top officials."
Dubbed Project Cortege, the lineup will include a car, a minivan and an SUV. The latter model will be built at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant and first model in the family is slated to be launched in 2017.
In related news, RG.ru has posted pictures of early mocks up for the vehicles. Unfortunately, they aren't very attractive as limo, in particular, looks like a boring mash up of a Chrysler 300 and Lincoln Town Car.
