2015 Dodge Challenger to get an eight-speed automatic, more powerful V8s

Should also feature some minor styling tweaks

New details are starting to emerge about the 2015 Dodge Challenger.
According to Allpar's sources, the entry-level Challenger V6 will be equipped with a new eight-speed transmission which should improve fuel economy and performance. It remains unclear the engine will receive any performance modifications but the 3.6-liter V6 currently produces 305 bhp (227 kW) and 268 lb-ft (363 Nm) of torque.
If that doesn't pique your interest, both the 5.7- and 6.4-liter HEMI V8s are slated to receive a "minor power upgrade." There's no word on performance figures but the 5.7-liter V8 currently develops 375 bhp (279 kW) and 410 lb-ft (555 Nm) of torque, while the 6.4-liter V8 cranks out 470 bhp (351 kW) and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque.
Those are nothing to sneeze at but SRT CEO Ralph Gilles recently hinted the Challenger Hellcat's supercharged 6.2-liter V8 will produce more than 640 bhp (477 kW).
