Will come without an engine
Zenos has announced plans to offer the E10 in the United States.
Set to arrive early next year, the lightweight roadster will be virtually identical to the car that was unveiled at Autosport International earlier this year.
The car will come without a powertrain but Zenos says it has been designed to accept a Ford-sourced 2.0-liter four-cylinder that develops 200 bhp (149 kW) and 210 Nm (154 lb-ft) of torque. This will cost customers about $4600 and approximately $500 to get it installed. This adds a lot of hassle but it should enable the E10 to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 135 mph (217 km/h).
The entry-level model will cost $39,500 while the Launch Edition will retail for $43,750. The latter model features additional standard equipment including a limited slip differential, a quick-release steering wheel and heated footwells.
