Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG modified by Brabus

Visual tweaks to match the added power

German tuner Brabus has applied its recipe on Mercedes-Benz's smallest AMG model on sale today, the A45 AMG.
The hot hatchback has received several subtle visual enhancements such as different bumpers and diffuser together with a rear wing and Brabus' two-tone monoblock alloy wheels. They are also working on suspension modifications as well as an uprated braking system and a bunch of interior upgrades.
Just like in the modified CLA 45 AMG, output of the 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine has increased thanks to the tuner's PowerXtra electronic kit to 400 HP (294 kW) and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) up from the standard 360 HP (265 kW) and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm). As a result of the higher motor output, the vehicle will now do the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 4.2 seconds which makes it 0.2s quicker than the standard car.
Chances are the GLA 45 AMG crossover will receive similar upgrades from Brabus in the near future since it has the same motor as the hatchback and four-door coupe.
