Facelifted Jaguar XJR spied again

Bringing minor visual updates

The range-topping Jaguar XJR facelift was captured on camera once again while being parked next to the Nürburgring track.
Jaguar plans a minor nip and tuck for the entire XJ range so it will affect the hotter XJR as well which based on these spy shots will feature slightly redesigned bumpers together with a mildly tweaked front grille. Other changes are not visible on this prototype but most likely the interior cabin will go through a modest refresh as well.
The supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine will probably be left untouched so it will continue to offer the same 550 HP (405 kW) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft). This motor is coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission and grants the XJR with a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) run in 4.4 seconds and a limited 174 mph (280 km/h) top speed.
Jaguar could introduce the facelifted XJ family in October at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
