Porsche 919 Hybrid suffers undisclosed technical problems at Paul Ricard

Despite the problems, the team is "going in the right direction"

Porsche is gearing up for the 2014 World Endurance Championship as they have tested the919 Hybrid at the Paul Ricard Circuit in France.
Unfortunately there were some undisclosed "technical problems" which caused several delays. However, Porsche still considers the tests highly productive.
Speaking of the tests, the drivers - Romain Dumas, Neel Jani, Marc Lieb, Timo Bernhard, Brendon Hartley, Mark Webber - got to experience the car at night while the pit crew did "countless pit stop practices." In total, Porsche says the two cars completed 4,756 km (2,955 miles) of testing.
According to Porsche Team principal Andreas Seidl "This test was a very challenging one for the entire crew. For the first time we were running two cars at the same time, which was demanding in terms of logistics and team coordination." He went on to say "The test taught us that we have to improve in terms of reliability. With regards to the way the crew and drivers worked together as a team, we are going in the right direction."
