Porsche tells owners to stop driving the 911 GT3 over fire concerns

Company will inspect all 785 models that have been delivered

Following a series of fires, Porsche is requesting owners of the 2014 911 GT3 stop driving their cars until they can be inspected.
According to Porsche, two 911 GT3s caught on fire in Europe after their engines were damaged. The company declined to elaborate but said there was "no traffic accident and no personal injure."
Since "safety is a number one priority at Porsche," the company will inspect all 785 models that have been delivered worldwide. To speed things up, Porsche is offering to pick up the vehicles and take them to a Porsche Center "immediately."
The company is still is still trying to determine the cause of the engine damage and says they will release their findings as soon as they can.
