Should fill the void left by the C6's depature
According to a recent report, Citroen is working on a DS6 sedan to battle the Audi A6, BMW 5-Series and Mercedes E-Class.
Details are limited but Autobild is reporting the model will measure approximately five meters long and fill the void left by the C6's departure.
Little else is known about the car but it is expected to feature a head up display, an infotainment system and a four-zone climate control system. The model could also eschew the hydro-pneumatic suspension for a more conventional setup.
Engine options will reportedly include a turbocharged four-cylinder petrol with 240 HP (176 kW) and a diesel that develops 200 HP (147 kW). There could also be a hybrid variant with an electric only range of roughly 50 km (31 miles).
If everything pans out, the DS6 will be launched next fall and cost approximately €36,000.
