Arriving in Geneva
A high resolution official photo of the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe has hit the web, prior to a public debut programmed for next month at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
Earlier this week a somewhat blurry pic of the S-Class Coupe surfaced the Internet from a Daimler presentation and now that picture has returned but luckily in a considerably higher resolution which gives us the chance to see the CL-Class replacement in all its glory.
It looks like a toned down version of the S-Class Coupe Concept which isn't really a big surprise taking into account Mercedes-Benz already said the production version will mimic the concept shown back in September last year at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The elegant and stylish two-door coupe will likely have the same engines as the sedans and quite possibly it will be offered in both S63 and S65 AMG derivatives. The interior cabin will also be taken from the sedan but the analog clock will be eliminated while the steering wheel will be redesigned. Other minor changes include the repositioning of the wood trim to the dashboard's top along with a more extensive use of metallic trim.
An online reveal could occur as early as next week to create a buzz until the Geneva show in March.
