Closely mirrors the concept
The first pictures of the 2014 Citroen C4 Cactus have leaked to the web, ahead of tomorrow's unveiling.
Looking virtually identical to the C4 Cactus concept, the production model has a stylish exterior with a bold front fascia, a "floating roof" and a distinctive C-pillar. We can also see plastic body cladding, a tailgate-mounted spoiler and "Airbumps" which can absorb low speed impacts from things like shopping carts.
The interior also draws cues from the concept and boasts a minimalist design with "lounge" seats, metallic accents and gloss black trim. The model also has a digital instrument cluster, a unique gear selector and a stylish infotainment system. Other notable highlights include a three-spoke steering wheel, unique door straps and what appears to be an easily accessible USB port.
Official specifications will be released tomorrow but Citroen executives have already revealedwe can expect modest petrol and diesel engines in order to keep costs down.
