2015 BMW X6 spied near the Arctic Circle

Keeping the same recipe

The second generation of the BMW X6 has been spied testing near the Arctic Circle ahead of an official reveal programmed for this year.
By combining the design of the third-gen BMW X5 with the X4 concept you can easily figure out how the new X6 will look like. Overall, only the greenhouse will be altered as the car will look like the 2014 X5 with the sloped roofline of the X4 concept in a bigger body.
Since it will be based on the X5, BMW's upcoming SAV (Sport Activity Vehicle) will be powered by a 450 HP twin-turbo V8 4.4-liter, a 258 HP TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder 3.0-liter and a 381 HP tri-turbo six-cylinder 3.0-liter.
BMW has already confirmed an X6 M model which will likely see the light of day sometime next year, several months after the regular model. Since there will be a plug-in hybrid version of the X5 (called xDrive40e), we can expect a similar version for the X6 as well.
