Porsche 911 (997) GT2 by OK-Chiptuning receives 680 HP

Torque raised to 880 Nm

German aftermarket specialists from OK-Chiptuning have released an upgrade program for the Porsche 911 (997 generation) GT2.
The tuning kit is addressed to those who didn't had the chance to own the 911 GT2 RS since the model was limited to only 500 units. This particular 911 GT2 Club Sport was taken beyond the output provided by the RS version as it now offers 680 HP (500 kW) and 880 Nm (649 lb-ft), making it 60 HP (44 kW) more powerful than the RS version and 150 HP (110 kW) than the standard GT2.
The additional power was obtained by optimizing the engine's ECU which costs 3,500 EUR and is compatible with all 997 GT2 models.
After the changes are made, the vehicle will run the 62 mph (100 km/h) - 124 mph (200 km/h) sprint in 5.1 seconds, considerably less than the 7.8 seconds the standard GT2 needs or the 5.9 seconds it takes for the RS version to complete the run. The tuned 911 GT2 here will do 62 mph - 186 mph (100 km/h - 300 km/h) in an impressive 18 seconds which makes it 5 seconds quicker than the GT2 RS.
Aside from the software optimization, the vehicle received 19-inch OZ Ultraleggera HLT alloy wheels wrapped around in Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tires. It also got the rear end from the RS version, including the LED taillights.
