This may not be the first thing you’d imagine Texas-based Hennessey Performance to work on. Nevertheless, Hennessey has just revealed its supercharger package for the 2010-2014Lexus LX 570. This full-size SUV is typically a rebadged and more expensive Toyota Land Cruiser, but with Hennessey’s fine touch it becomes a different beast. Upgrades include a supercharger system, fuel injector upgrade, an engine management calibration, and chassis tuning.
All told, the 5.7-liter V8 is now rated at 500 horsepower and 530 lb-ft of torque, up from 383 hp and 403 lb-ft. Performance wise, the HPE500 Supercharged Upgrade package takes the SUV from 0-60 mph in 6.6 seconds (stock is 7.3) and a quarter mile time of 14.6 seconds at 98 mph. Buyers also receive Hennessey badging and numbered plaque.
