Audi allroad shooting brake concept wows the Motor City

Likely previews the 2015 TT

Audi has taken the wraps off the allroad shooting brake concept in Detroit.
Designed to provide a "concrete look into the near future," the concept is an off-road inspired TT with a single-frame grille that flanked by matrix LED headlights. The crossover has also been equipped with aluminum skid plates, aggressive fender flares and a rear diffuser. Other notable highlights include a dual exhaust system and 19-inch wheels constructed from carbon fiber reinforced plastic.
The cabin boasts sport seats, aluminum trim and an alcantara roof liner. There's also an e-S tronic gear knob, an inductive cell phone charger and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster that provides all the usual information as well as infotainment data from the MMI system.
Motivation is provided by a plug-in hybrid system that consists of a 2.0-liter TFSI petrol engine and two electric motors. This setup enables the concept to produce a combined maximum output of 408HP (300 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. Thanks to the advanced powertrain, the concept can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, hit a limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) and average 1.9 L/100 km (123.8 mpg US).
