Radical RXC & RXC Turbo approved for street use in the U.S. [video]

Succeeding where so many others have failed

Radical has announced the RXC and RXC Turbo have been approved for street-legal use in the United States.
Succeeding where so many others have failed, Radical worked closely with American RXC owner Jeffrey Cheng to get the car approved - a task the company says is "traditionally difficult with low-volume British sportscars."
Despite the difficulties, Radical says the "RXC has been designed to meet stringent Small-Series Type Approval regulations for both Europe and worldwide in all key criteria areas, such as visibility, crash safety, noise and emissions, enabling a swift and straight-forward completion of the process."
As we have previously reported, the RXC has a 3.7-liter V6 engine that produces 380 bhp (283 kW) and 320 lb-ft (433 Nm) of torque. The RXC Turbo, on the other hand, has a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine with 460 HP (338 kW) and 678 Nm (500 lb-ft) of torque. The latter model can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.6 seconds before hitting a top speed of 185 mph (298 km/h).
