Caractere previews their tuning program for the Volkswagen Golf VII

Company will offer styling and performance upgrades

Caractere has released the first details about their upcoming tuning program for theVolkswagen Golf VII.

On styling front, the model can be equipped with an aerodynamic body kit that includes a front lip spoiler, revised side skirts and a rear diffuser. Customers can also order a revised grille, a tailgate-mounted spoiler, a stainless steel sports exhaust system and 18- or 19-inch CW1 light alloy wheels.

The company will also offer a variety of performance upgrades. These changes will enable the 2.0-liter TDI to produce 208 HP (153 kW) and 410 Nm (302 lb-ft) of torque, while the 2.0-liter TSFI can be massaged to develop 310 HP (228 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque.
