Volkswagen Golf GTI VII Plus by BBM Motorsport revealed with 300 HP [video]

With 440 Nm of torque

BBM Motorsport has infused significantly more power in a seventh generation Volkswagen Golf GTI.
They modified the GTI Performance variant which in its standard guise delivers 230 HP (169 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque from a four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine. Output of the four-banger was bumped to an impressive 300 HP (221 kW) and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft), representing an increase of 70 HP (51 kW) and 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).
The additional oomph was extracted by fiddling with the engine's electronics and installing custom down pipes with sports cats and a carbon intake kit. There's also a bespoke exhaust system from Supersprint with 100mm pipes, a Stoptech braking system with 328x25 mm four-piston calipers and a KW suspension electronically adjustable between 20 to 55 mm.
As a final touch, the Golf GTI received 19-inch BBS wheels with a titan gray finish while the body was covered in a red wrap provided by SFT Carwrap Ibbenbueren from Germany.
