Bentley CEO confirms plans for a hybrid SUV, hybrid powertrain to be offered across the lineup.

Model has been redesigned and is now a "true Bentley"

Bentley CEO Dr Wolfgang Schreiber has revealed some new details about the company'supcoming crossover.
In an interview with Auto Express, Schreiber said “The SUV will be the first Bentley hybrid because it’s based on a new platform with new technology." He went on to say the model will likely be a plug-in hybrid so it could use a system similar to the Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid.
Speaking of hybrids, Schreiber confirmed "We will see hybrid versions of all of our cars." However, they're several years off as he said hybrid powertrains are unlikely for existing models.
While the EXP 9F concept was stylistically challenged - to put it politely - Schreiber says the company has completely redesigned the model so it's now a "true Bentley."
So far, the crossover seems to be a hit as the company has already received 2,000 pre-orders. This is rather impressive as the company has an annual sales target of just 3,000 units.
