Dodge Challenger SRT8 Hellcat to debut in the Motor City.

Could have up to 700 bhp (522 kW)

Hell is about the freeze over as Allpar is reporting several sources have confirmed SRT will unveil their Hellcat engine at the North American International Auto Show.
It remains unclear if the company will show the engine by itself or in the Challenger Hellcat but sources have said it's “absolutely sinister" with "stupid power.”
Speaking of the latter, the SRT-exclusive engine is expected to be a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that produces anywhere from 640 to 700 bhp (477 to 522 kW). If these numbers pan out, the car will be significantly more powerful the Challenger SRT8 which has a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 with 470 hp (350 kW) and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque. As a result, the Challenger Hellcat should be faster than the Challenger SRT8 that runs from 0-60 mph in the "high 4-second range."
