It may even cause a few giggles too.
First off, the 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is not a supercar. It weighs at least 1,000 lbs. more than any Ferrari and/or Lamborghini and, obviously, it’s an SUV. So why would it satisfy the supercar owner who needs some utility? Perhaps because it’s got 510 horsepower and 461 lb-ft of torque coming from its supercharged 5.0-liter V8. Along with a pair of paddle shifters that work amazingly well in a rig of this size, the Range Rover Sport is actually a fun thing to throw around into corners.
Obviously it’s no sports car, but according to muscle car fanatic Mike Musto, it’s still a more than satisfying piece of bonkers horsepower. Sure it’s expensive, but the Range Rover Sport caters to those who’ve already got the supercar parked in the garage; they just need something better suited for weekend getaways.
