A sign of things to come
Several new pictures of the Volvo Concept XC Coupe have surfaced online, ahead of its debut at the North American International Auto Show.
Designed to preview the 2015 XC90, the XC Coupe follows in the footsteps of the Concept Coupe and adopts a stylish exterior with a prominent grille, LED-infused headlights and plastic body cladding. We can also see gently flowing surfaces, a dual exhaust system and distinctive taillights.
The interior doesn't look particularly accommodating but it has four individual seats that are separated by a full-length center console. We can also see a large infotainment system and what appears to be a rear passenger control panel.
There's no word on what powers the concept but the XC90 will ride on the Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) and feature a variety of VEA (Volvo Environmental Architecture) four-cylinder engines.
