Service will enable buyers to select from a variety of Mopar parts and have them installed at the factory.
Mopar is getting top billing at the North American International Auto Show as Chrysler has announced their accessories division will have a 5,500 square foot display with a new Custom Shop.
Citing the rapid growth of vehicle customization, the Mopar Custom Shop will enable buyers to select from a variety of Mopar parts and have them installed at the factory. This means the components will be covered by the original vehicle warranty and included in the "Monroney label" which means they can be rolled into financing packages.
To help promote the new service, Mopar will display a variety of customized models including the Mopar Dodge Challenger, Fiat 500L Thalassa, Jeep Wrangler Recon, Jeep Cherokee Trail Carver and Ram 3500 Dually CASE Work Truck.
According to Mopar CEO Pietro Gorlier, “Consumers may want to add electronic tracking systems, our in-vehicle wireless charging, racing stripes, bed-liners or any number of quality Mopar performance parts and accessories, and now with the Mopar Custom Shop they can have everything factory installed and ready to drive home just the way they want it."
